The Chicken is an Uncommon Pet added in the Animal Update. It can be obtained by hatching the Uncommon Egg, costing 150,000 Sheckles with a 53% shop chance and a 25% hatch chance, taking approximately 30 minutes to hatch. It has a maximum hunger of 3,400 and is a weaker version of the Rooster.

Appearance

The Chicken has a yellow body, orange feet, orange nose, and a red comb (the red part on its head).

Traits

The Chicken passively increases egg hatch speed by approximately 10%, stacking with other Chickens or Roosters. When paired with a Rooster, it has an 11.45% chance to lay an egg, which can be sold or used for rewards. The hatch speed boost improves slightly as the pet ages. Stacking multiple Chickens enhances hatch speed significantly, ideal for pet-focused strategies.
