Black Bunny

General

The Black Bunny is an Uncommon Pet added in the Animal Update. It can be obtained by hatching the Uncommon Egg, costing 150,000 Sheckles with a 53% chance to appear in the shop and a 25% hatch chance, taking approximately 30 minutes to hatch. It is a variant of the Bunny, with 1,300 hunger compared to the Bunny's 1,100.

Appearance

The Black Bunny is a recolor of the Bunny, featuring a black body with pink inner ears and nose. It has black facial features, white limbs, and a white tail (based on the Bunny's appearance: white bunny with pink inner ears, black facial features, white ears, head, body, limbs, and tail).

Traits

Every 40 seconds, the Black Bunny searches for a Carrot in the garden, eats it, and automatically sells it at a marked-up price of 1.5x value, increasing to approximately 1.7x as the pet ages. If no Carrot is available, it roams aimlessly. It can also eat Chocolate Carrots, a limited-time event crop, which may sell for higher value but risks unintentional consumption. The ability may improve slightly with leveling (e.g., reducing cooldown to ~39 seconds or increasing value to ~1.8x).

Pros and Cons

Pros:

• Automatically sells Carrots at 1.5x value (up to 1.7x with age)
• Uncommon rarity makes it easier to obtain than Rare or Legendary pets
• Useful for early-game players planting Carrots for quick Sheckles

Cons:

• Only boosts Carrot value, limiting versatility compared to Cow (increases all plant growth) or Dragonfly (turns crops golden)
• Takes up one of three pet slots
• Wanders aimlessly without Carrots
• May eat valuable Chocolate Carrots unintentionally
